In True Fall Fashion - Plaid+Pumpkins

Griffin Ungar Photography
Gobble gobble next week we are finally hitting turkey week everyone! Who's ready to eat? As promised a plaids+pumpkins post as arrived. A little basic but a whole lot of love haha. Also anyone who knows me knows I love experimenting in the kitchen - Chef V added in a recent Fall recipe (scroll to the end) you can perhaps take to a Friendsgiving , Office potluck, or Family Thanksgiving. You'll want to make this for sure - seriously super easy, healthy, and delish!
Okay style details -To me this outfit perfectly describes fall and possible a Thanksgiving look - What I love most is it rounds out several Fall17 trends. You see Plaid (of course), ruffles, booties, wine/navy hues, and military buttons. With a few more accessories you can easily dress this up (think jeweled necklace or hat), but I like this casual cute style. I found this skirt a few weeks ago at Zara and I've worn it several different ways already - I love how they styled it here with the turtleneck and hat (thinking a great #ootd option). Also side note: I love closet pieces that have memories tied to them. My clutch is a recent gift from a friend. She works for DVF (Yesss and she knows Diane haha) and gave me this beautiful clutch as a good luck gift when I made my move back to Texas. Thank you so much G! It is being loved and put to great use. Thankful for you and your friendship :)
Baked Pears Recipe - I made these a couple of weeks ago for my cousin and I. She lives across the street from me and we had such a lovely lunch date. Another lunch date soon?
Recipe Ingredients
  • Pears ( Oh or even apples)
  • Cinnamon/Pumpkin Spice
  • Raisins
  • Chopped mixed nuts
  • Honey (optional)
Directions
  • Heat to 350 Bake
  • Halve the Pairs or Apples and lay on a small foiled pan
  • Add as much spice - extra cinnamon for me :)
  • Sprinkle the chopped nuts/raisins on top
  • Drizzle honey or agave (optional)
  • Bake for about 12 mins
I'll be making my way back to South Texas this next week. Ready to see the fam and friends back home.
