Got it at Gordmans

Happy Saturday friends! I hope everyone had a great week. I was back in the city last week for work and it was great seeing everyone and catching up. More life talk at the end – but overall a successful trip (now who’s ready for Spring?).
Today I wanted to share some GREAT new finds. Shoutout to any Midwest readers – this post is for you. After a recent Trip to Omaha I spent some time shopping around (of course) and found myself in a Gordmans store 😊 Happy to report that I scored SO many great deals and literally 3 complete outfits (shoe’s included featuring in another post) denim, sweaters, shoes?! All the yes to that. A little more than a full blown brunch $ spread and BAM I easily scored 3 outfits. Fine, I'll give up a brunch if that means new clothes haha. Those of you not familiar Gordmans, it is a Midwest Off Price store and the idea is shop till you drop because you never know what you might find. I love browsing and if something cute catches my eye – I know I gotta snatch it before it’s gone. I’ll be sharing in a few upcoming posts all my Gordmans finds. In the meantime I’ll be adding things to my Instagram here and you can always follow along Gordmans social media as well for the latest #trending goodies on the G Blog.
This outfit today I was really excited to share. Lately I’ve been into pairing my booties with crop denim and it’s been a nice way to trans into cooler months without hiding away all my summer denim. These are my first pair of denim culottes – I have to say I’m into it and I was inspired by these looks here and here. I decided to pair mine with this cozy green sweater (similar here) - it’s an easy comfy casual look.  My sweater and jeans are from Gordmans and my shoes and bag are classic closet staples I've had. I love the sweater quality and for under $10 this was an absolute steal! Happy with my purchases and fab fall finds.
Back to life talk – I had such a great week. Sunday I did my usual workout/prep for the week (hotel gym life) and Monday we hit the ground running. Lots of meetings, coffee, and life catch up with my NYC peeps. I finally tried Charlie Bird with my friend Daniel (so cute and the food was amazing, loved seeing you) and a group of my old work friends and I were able to catch up at a close by spot- Juniper. In our small retail world I ran into my old boss during an appointment and it was SO great to give her a quick squeeze (miss and love ya no ugly cry).  Ya’ll also know a trip to NYC isn’t complete without a stop at The Crooked Knife (the cozy spot below my first city apartment) and I loved that it was cool enough for an indoor fire. But don’t worry with all the foodies happy I fit in my workouts #wakeupcall and even squeezed in a new class. Ballet Beautiful had been on my list (a VS Angel fav) and I LOVED it. The instructor was absolute dance goalssss and I am definitely adding more of what I learned into my morning workout routines.
AH ALMOST Turkey day :) Hope everyone has a great week.
