Fall Florals

Finally - I think Fall has officially hit Houston. Fall means plaid and lots of it. Don't worry I have a few posts in the works ;) BUT this season Fall also means florals. Most of us think Summer/Spring - but you can still definitely incorporate dark ground florals into Fall fashion. Focusing on burgundy, black, hunter green, and navy can transition summery styles into more Fall feelings. Although there's tons of floral tops in stores at the moment I had a harder time finding online ideas for you guys. But I promise they are out there. Layering florals under cardigans, wraps/dusters, and mixing heavier textures (like leather or my corduroy skirt) also create a cozy look. Ooh add in maybe a fun scarf too-loving this Anthro Plaid and Floral find here! Also obsessed with this floral top+leather leggings here.
Finally I think the weather is getting cooler ish here in Houston - although the day I shot this look it was not the most breezy. Lol I had a lot of fun inching those over the knee boots off...It may have taken a few minutes #struggles. I found these a few seasons ago from Guess - they have come out of the closet for a little pre-weather prep. I also have a lot of other options linked at the end for ideas. Speaking of Fall - a few of the girls from work and I did a fun Pumpkin workout at Whole Foods yesterday. We lifted pumpkins instead of weights and yesss I am feeling that burn today. So much fun with Bombshell Bootcamp AND I was able to hit up my groceries after haiii. Cleaned and cozied up this weekend - this whole Danish Hygge life sparked my major chill weekend status. Who doesn't love cozy blankets, warm drinks, and movies? The Danes are definitely on to something :)
This morning I did my Pilates class and caught up with a girlfriend over coffee (loved seeing her finally lol)...So excited for next Halloweekenddd tonight thinking Chayson and I will complete our Halloween costumes!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
