The LPD

If there is one thing most of us can agree we own it's a little black dress aka the LBD. It's simple, plays well with the rest of your closet, and can easily transition from day to night. With feminine touches and soft colors on the rise I am seeing a new trend...The Little Pink Dress. And what a better way to start Spring than with an LPD? I've always been a fan of girly details - happy to see bows, ruffles, and PINK finally having their moment.

I absolutely LOVE this pretty Rachel Roy Dress. I found it on sale a few weeks ago at Macys and it seriously caught my eye.  Everything about it to me screams perfect LPD. It's silky soft, feminine, and the cold shoulder is extremely flattering on everyone. Um how cute are these button details? I felt so classy chic during this snap sesh. P.S I'm not seeing the blush color online (nude and black) but I've linked similar styles at the end. Also take a look in stores too, there are tons of soft pink styles out.

Although I could have easily thrown on a pair of heels (off to the tea party) I decided to balance Miss Prim&Proper out with these Gucci Bit inspired slides.  I've been eyeing these shoes all season and I finally got my hands on a more budget friendly pair (the real deals are $650 meep). I'm pretty sure I wore my new kicks everyday the first week I brought them home. My ladylike look can also be paired with a leather jacket too to give it more of an edgy take (because I am so edgy these days haha) Love these feminine leather looks here, here, and here.
With warmer weather and summer around the corner - I'm ready to add more sweet girly looks to my closet. Especially with my morning workout/runs, throwing on a cute dress and a topknot bun is definitely the way to go during the morning rush. To pull off this LPD trend - look for styles with these added details.**Bows, pearls, silk fabrications, buttons, lace, and ruffles.

This past weekend was a good one. Ran a few errands, got my workout on, and had a few catch up dates. Ah I was able to check another Italian food place off my hit list - Cotenna. IT was SO GOOD. It is the sister restaurant to Aria (another date night fav of mine) and the food and cozy atmosphere was perfect for a girls night. We split the Black Truffle Gnocchi, burrata, and meat+cheese - all of it was amazing! I do have such a soft spot for anything truffle and cheese haha :) Sunday was even nice enough outside to shoot a few more Spring looks. Excited to share more girly trend inspo with you all.
