Pretty in Pastel

Can you all believe less than one week until Easter Sunday? Time is seriously flying by, yesterday felt like New Years Eve! Excited today to show you all my Sunday best dress. The past couple of years my Easter looks have been more on the floral print side. Last year I wore a floral jumpsuit (sounds like a lot but it's really cute) and this year I decided to go with a simple pastel dress. Pastels and florals...it's a thing every year that's for sure lol. How pretty is this Joie green lace numbaaa though? I love the classic lace detail of this dress. It kind of reminds me of a jelly bean or Easter egg, must be the color. Don't worry, it's structured enough so you definitely won't look like a jellybean ;) This dress was another fab find retailing over $150 and believe it or not I found it for $40 at a resale shop here in the city. The tags were still on it so it definitely found a loving home with me. Although this was not your typical sale find, there are still tons Spring sales going on right now! Stores are filled with so many reasonably priced options. Time is ticking and if you are still in need of a dress I also have a few Spring/Easter dress inspo ideas from this week's insta here and similar pastel lace styles below.

Colored lace is always so pretty and I like that I have a few different options to accessorize. I've been on the hunt for fringe statement earrings and I finally found the perfect pair last week at a Macy's Backstage. Ah such a steal and this taupe color literally goes with everything - Shoutout to the buyer I can't wait to pair them with the rest of my closet this summer ;) Be on the lookout for more earring Instas y'all! My Nanette Lepore wedges were such a great purchase last summer too. All the bold tribal colors give me so many outfit options (aka bright green Easter dress) and I think the charm detail is a cute added touch. Canvas wedges instantly give me that summer/spring feeling.

OMG guys so I was scouting my favorite blogs and I came across Bows&Sequins Easter post from last year. I was like YAS when I saw this because this year for lent I gave up my Espresso/cappuccino machine. I was like what is something that I literally use everyday? Yep - so I knew I had to pack it up. Anyway, check out these CUTE Easter "eggspresso" recipe. I am going to make one Sunday and welcome my beloved machine back into my life...you have been missed. Stay tuned for the success or pinterest fail on this one through my instaStory snaps.

Happy almost Easter Weekend! Any fun plans? Thinking Saturday will have to be a park day/brunch with this lovely weather. This week is supposed to be perfect! Finally I can get my workout on outside too! On Sunday I'll be celebrating, going to mass with a friend/family in the city, anddd most likely consuming a few too many jelly beans (starbursts ones are the best). I might also test out a few recipe ideas on my list too, ChefV gonna get cookin! Hope you all are having a great week so far and Easter/Spring weekend!
