Pretty Pix

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, ah it was SO nice being back in TX with my ladies. We did some work on Austin lol good times. I'll save those stories for another day...But for today, I was going through my camera and found these pretty pics I took the past month and wanted to share.

It's amazing what a decent camera lens and good lighting can do for your images. I've been practicing with different settings on my camera and trying to steer less from going complete automatic mode haha. Let me tell you I am NOT a photography guru genius, but I do enjoy trying to figure out my best snaps. A lot of people have asked me what camera I use and I normally use a Cannon Rebel xi with a 50 MM lens. I try to keep everything pretty basic and touch up anything with iPhoto. I have a few friends with camera experience who usually snap my style post pics, Oh and Chayson he does that too sometimes ;)

Accessories, flowers, heels...what's not to love? Lately I have been obsessed with incorporating bits of turquoise into my looks. The earrings above are perfect for that. I received them as a gift but I linked similar styles above. Same with both statement necklaces, it's easy to pair with neutral tones as well. Slowly trying to add some color back in. I wore this fun pastel romper HERE this past weekend. I'll have to post the full look soon...when the weather cooperates ;)
