First off, I just wanted to say I am SO excited about my upcoming posts. I can't thank my friends enough for their support and encouragement throughout this whole blogging process. A lot of looks are in the works and without the help from my ladies I could not have captured them. My friends have given me style tips, taken photos, shared accessories (hence the amazing handbag above) and brainstormed ideas with me...I can't thank you all enough! Starting my blog I've met and connected with some really sweet girls and I'm thankful for the new friendships this has brought me. I never would have thought that committing and sticking with this could bring me so much happiness. At first I was a little weirded out about putting myself out there on G&G but I'm glad I did and really appreciate the feedback and encouragement from all of you. In a way I think this has brought me closer to a lot of people and it's been fun creating new looks and content. I've definitely explored even more mix and match closet options thanks to G&G. Sometimes it's not always about making a purchase, but styling what you already own...I want this is be a place for you to find shopping and style inspiration.
I'll be back in TX on Friday to visit my boyfriend and Houston friends. Wah I need to pack! Excited to be back for the weekend...plus I can't wait to get my hurrr did. I can't seem to find anyone to get it right besides One Two Zero Salon - Shoutout to Alyssa! She is amazing if you want perfectly blended layers and texture. I need some major texture and oomph (y'all know what I mean).
Ok, so I tried out the DailyLook Elite box (free trial) and I ended up with this taupe sweater. I had a hard time committing to the other items in my box...some of it was a little pricy and I think my sale senses can lead me to a better deal..especially here in the city. Plus I really don't need to be blowing money right now, still working off those moving expenses haiiii. So I sent the other items back and paired my keep with soft browns and taupe. I'm seriously in LOVE with this Celine handbag. Sharing closets with a friend, don't mind if I do! ;) I also found this fur stole back in August at a vintage coat tent at a street festival in the Upper East Side ish (60s and Lex). I feel like I always come out with the best finds at tent shops...I found some unbelievable treasures a few weeks ago. You won't believe it when I tell you! I'm going to start a FabFind tab on G&G to start keeping track of my best bargain hunt finds. #poppintagz
