Hello 2014! I can't believe another year has come and gone...crazy how time flies. 2013 was definitely a year to remember. The year was filled with SO many life changing events for me. I had the best last semester I could have possibly imagined in college, turned 22, met a handsome boy, graduated college, interned in NY this summer, met some pretty amazing people, my best friend got married, ended up with my dream job in the city, came back to Texas for a bit, and now I am anxious for my move to NY this spring.
New years always mean fresh starts, resolutions, and a time for change. I am looking forward to seeing what 2014 has up its sleeve. I am so thankful to have this time in Texas with my family and friends before I move. I really want to use this time to focus on myself and TRY to stick to some of my New Years Resolutions.
One of my major resolutions is going to try to stop spending so much $$$. Soo instead of buying a new scarf, I made this one :) I channeled my inner Grandma andd viola!
I was so excited when I finally finished it! I crochet it using a large Q hook and 2 skews of Lion Brand Homespun Thick and Quick yarn. My mom taught me when I was younger how to crochet, but I brushed up on it through this YouTube vid.
I hope you all are having a fabulous start to 2014.
